Facing and Embracing Mortality: The Final Countdown

This course, which includes lectures, videos, music, art, discussion, and time to connect with other students, will help participants begin to embrace their mortality within the caring space of a classroom community. Participants will:
- Become more comfortable with their own mortality
- Gain insights into improving conversations with loved ones
- Understand advance care planning options and documents
- Learn about end-of-life care options, body disposition choices, and medical aid in dying
- Explore mortality through the arts and compassionate conversation with each other and the facilitator
